Junior Sports Academy

A combination of Golf, Tennis and Swimming Clinics. Juniors will be divided by age when appropriate and learn a variety of skills in this week long fun experience. Sign up for the week or ala carte.

Ages 4 -12
June 5th - August 31st
Tuesday- Friday on non camp weeks
(Not available the week of July 4th)

Golf: 9am - 10:30am (weekly $140, daily $40)
Tennis: 10:30am - 12pm (weekly $140, daily $40)
Lunch: 12pm - 12:30pm (cost of lunch not included)
Swimming: 12:30pm - 2pm (weekly $140, daily $40)

Junior Golf 2018

Golf Camp: 9:00am - 11:00am

    Session 1: June 11 -15    
    Session 2: July 9 - 13    
    Session 3: August 13 - 17

All juniors will be divided up by age and skill level with an approriate student-teacher ratio. This is an excellent opportunity for juniors to enjoy learning the game of golf while having fun doing it. Juniors will participate in a number of fun activities like SNAG golf, Ball Toss, Hybrid Golf and much more. With contests and prizes, group and individual activities, juniors will be sure to have a good time. If only participating in Golf Camp, juniors should be picked up at 11am outside the 19th Hole.

Junior Golf Academy: 9am - 10:30am 
These clinics have been combined to offer 4 days a week of junior golf combined with tennis and swimming for an all-day/week experience. Kids will learn a variety of golf skills and will be divided by age when appropriate.

Junior Golf School

These schools are designed to expand on the skills learned in the Junior Golf Academy and camps. In a small group setting, these schools will utilize range time and on course instruction. 2 person minimum, 5 person maximum.

PGA Jr. League Golf

Designed to bring a little league atmosphere to the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls, ages 13 & under, PGA LJG provides a structured environment for young golfers to compete and have fun.

Junior Tennis Programs

Tennis Camp: 11:30am - 1:30pm

    Session 1: June 11 -15

4 days of learning and activities for your young tennis player. Our tennis program goals for all ages and skill level will include fun, skill development, fun, tactics, fun, fitness, sportsmanship and most importantly...FUN Instruction by Barb Meyer

Tennis Academy

These clinics have been combined to offer 4 days a week of junior tennis combined with golf and swimming for an all-day/week experience. We will divide the kids by age and color of ball they train on Orange, Green Dot or Yellow Ball.

Middle School Camp

Middle school season readiness class. This group is for younger players who desire to become more competitive, whether that is tournament play or high school varsity.

    Tuesday & Thursdays 3pm - 4:30pm
 

High School Training Camp

This is a varsity level training camp that will enhance necessary skills for your high school season. Mondays will be match play and Tuesdays - Thursdays will focus on areas of improvement from evaluated matches.

    Mondays: Racquet Wars Match Play: 8:00am - 11:00am
    Tuesday - Thursday: Training Days:  8am - 9:30am
 

Oak Ridge Interclub Junior Tennis Team

This competitive team travels to other Country Clubs around town to play in matches. This team requires an 8 week commitment.

    Tuesday/Thursday/Friday  1:00pm - 3:00pm
 

Foam Ball Class
​Classes will include development of athletic skills, games, tennis instruction, along with snack and water breaks. 
    Ages 3-5 
    Wednesday & Friday 9:30am - 11am


Pool And Swim Programs

Swimming Camp: 1:30am - 3:30pm

    Session 1: June 11 -15    
    Session 2: July 9 - 13    
    Session 3: August 13 - 17

Finish the day at the pool with fun competitions, water safety instruction, organized games, crazy crafts, stroke instruction and everything wet.
 

Junior Swim Academy

After lunch, juniors will participate in a wide variety of activities focused on swim stroke technique, water safety skills, basic lifeguard rescue instruction and more. Each of the four competitive strokes will be taught during this academy. The program will be adapted to each swimmers ability.

Swimming Lessons

We offer private/semiprivate lessons scheduled at your convenience scheduled through our Pool Director
 

Junior Swim Team
Junior Swim Team creates an excellent opportunity for kids ages 3 to 5 to start developing and perfecting theirswimming abilities by learning the major strokes. Junior Swim Team encourages our youngest members interested in competitive swimming.

    Ages: 3 - 5
    Dates: June 13 - July 25  *  Tuesdays & Thursdays 4pm - 4:30pm 
 

Swim Team
Competing in the Western Swim League as a combined club team GMMO (Golden Valley, Medina, Minneapolis Golf Club & Oak Ridge). 5 to 17 year old swimmers have the opportunuty to learn more and improve upon their abilities and strokes in a competitive environment.

    Age: 5 - 17 
    June 13 - July 15   *Practice: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri    Meets: Wednesday
    4:30pm - 5:15pm
